PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say 21 people are in custody on suspicion of false identification at a vitamin distribution warehouse in west Phoenix.
More than two dozen Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant at the General Nutrition Centers warehouse around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies say two of the 21 arrested were using the Social Security numbers of deceased persons.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio says his office received a tip from a person familiar with the business that people were working at the center with fake IDs.
GNC officials say they have no immediate comment on the investigation. Arpaio says both the distribution center and GNC offices in Pittsburgh are cooperating with authorities.
