Man arrested on multiple fraud charges, resisting arrest

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Jason A. Readye, Jr. has been arrested by Sierra Vista police on several fraud charges and resisting arrest.
Cpl. Scott Borgstadt with Sierra Vista Police tells KGUN9 that on July 26, police investigated a burglary at CAS School located at 900 Carmelita Drive in Sierra Vista. Video surveillance showed a black male with a Mohawk haircut enter the school and go into a classroom.
Police determined later a wallet containing several credit cards was taken.
On July 26, the victim checked with the credit card companies and found several unauthorized charges that occurred on July 25 and 26.
Officers obtained several videos from various stores in Sierra Vista showing a black male with a Mohawk haircut using the victim's credit card. The suspect in the store videos matched the description of the black male with a Mohawk on the video from CAS School.
The suspect was identified as Readye, Jr. based on a prior contact with officers.
On August 7, officers responded to a noise complaint and made contact with a subject that provided a false name. Dispatchers advised officers the name provided is an alias for Readye, Jr. Officers attempted to place Readye under arrest when he resisted and tried to get away.
Readye has been arrested and charged with one count of burglary, two counts of theft of a credit
card, five counts of forgery of a credit card, ten counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, resisting arrest, possession of prescription drugs, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
