Severe Weather in Pima County

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Parts of Pima County could continue to get hit with microbursts of strong winds and heavy rain.
Tucson's National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for east-central Pima County and south-central Arizona.
The advisory will remain in effect until 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
A dust storm warning is also in effect until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, which could produce blowing dust up to 40 mph.
Heavy rainfall and wind gusts up to 60 mph are likely with this storm system, which is moving northeast at 15 mph.
Heavy rains and strong winds are likely for the areas of Green Valley, Tucson, Oro Valley, Seven Falls, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Sahuarita, Saguaro National Park East and Rita Ranch.
South Tucson, San Xavier Mission and Catalina Foothills could also experience strong winds, heavy rains, and potential storm damage.
Motorists are urged to stay out of flooding washes and people should take shelter from outside.
Finally, a significant weather advisory is in effect for western Cochise County.
This advisroy will remain in effect until 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
