COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Starting Friday Morning, Prescott National Forest will place additional fire restrictions after this summers increased fire danger.
Campfires, charcoal grills, and stove fires, will not be allowed on all Prescott National Forest campsites and land.
Petroleum fueled stoves, lanters, and other heating devices are still allowed within the park.
Any violators of these restrictions will face fines up to $10,000 or imprisonment.
Until forest restrictions determine it is safe, restrictions will remain in place.
