PHOENIX (AP) - Vice President Joe Biden is set to headline a fundraiser in Phoenix that will benefit President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic campaigns.
Officials with Obama's re-election campaign say Biden will attend the fundraising lunch for 100 donors at the Heard Museum in central Phoenix late Thursday morning.
Tickets to the event started at $500. An invitation posted online shows seats topped out at $40,000 for a table seating seven with a photo opportunity with the Vice President.
Biden has no public events scheduled during his visit to Arizona.
One pool reporter will be allowed into the event, but no photos or video are expected to be permitted.
