TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Three men have been arrested and charged in a home invasion from April 15.
Deputy Dawn Barkman with PCSD tells KGUN9 that deputies responded to the 9800 block of South Agave Cactus Way in reference to an armed robbery/home invasion.
The homeowner advised deputies he had answered the front door only to be forced back into the residence by three male suspects in black clothing. Three suspects told the homeowner that if he did not produce the money and drugs, he would be killed along with his family. The homeowner told the suspects that he did not have any money or drugs. The suspects looked throughout the residence for valuables and eventually left with the homeowner’s wallet and cell phone, says Barkman.
After the suspects left the residence, the homeowner called 9-1-1 to report the incident. He was able to provide information about the suspects and the F-150 pickup truck in which the suspects fled.
Deputies found the suspect vehicle traveling northbound on Nogales Hwy. and Los Reales Road and conducted a traffic stop. This lead to the arrest of the three suspects. Several items, including guns, rifles, and tasers were located inside the suspect vehicle.
22-year-old Daniel Alejandro Macias, 22-year-old Ernesto Adrian Guerrero and 21-year-old Miguel Angel Soberanes were booked on six counts of robbery, six counts of aggravated assault, six counts of kidnapping, one count of aggravated robbery and one county of burglary.
