Single-vehicle rollover turns fatal

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A single-vehicle rollover collision killed one person this morning.
The rollover took place on West Drexel Road near the South Woodcrest Drive intersection.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, 20-year-old Jose Manuel Estrada Mendez, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities responded to the fatal collision on April 16 at 3:25 a.m.
The black four door 1997 Ford Explorer lost control this morning. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on West Drexel Road. The vehicle rolled several times then stopped after striking a wall in a culvert running parallel to the roadway.
Investigation continues to see if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
