South Tucson Police investigating armed robbery

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - South Tucson Police are investigating the armed robbery of a 58-year-old woman on April 1.
Sgt. Jeff Inorio tells KGUN9 that South Tucson Police responded to a report of an injured female in the 2100 block of South 8th Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim suffering from lacerations to her arms, legs and hands. The victim was alert and able to advise officers that she had been held against her will.
Officers located one subject attempting to clean up an obvious crime scene. The subject was detained and a search warrant for the property was obtained.
Detectives collected evidence of the crime and interviewed 59-year-old Jose Lorenzo Torres, who was later charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and kidnapping.
Detectives have identified a second suspect, 45-year-old Edward “Eddie” Salazar and are asking for the help of the public in locating Salazar.
