Democrats coming together for caucuses

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Democrats from across Arizona will be coming together for the 2012 Arizona Democratic District Caucuses. 

At the caucuses, Democrats will have the opportunity to do two things: first, the Arizona Presidential Preference Caucuses will take place, where Democratic voters will have the opportunity to come out and vote for the 2012 Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

Immediately afterward, the elected and appointed precinct committee persons at each caucus will elect District-level delegates, selecting those individuals who will serve as delegates from Arizona's eight congressional districts at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Registration is 9:00-11:00 a.m.
