Hiker dies on Camelback Mountain

PHOENIX (AP) - The Phoenix Fire Department says a man died Wednesday while hiking Camelback Mountain in east Phoenix. The fire department says the older adult man had sort some sort of medical problem leading to full cardiac arrest while hiking down from the top of the mountain.
Bystanders attempted CPR until paramedics arrived and found the man on the trail. Paramedics were unable to save the man and he died on the mountain.
A helicopter was used to take the man off Camelback Mountain.
The man's name was not released.
