TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Northwest Fire responded to an overnight mobile home fire that has displaced a family of three.
Captain Adam Goldberg tells KGUN9 that crews responded to 3056 West Palmyra Street after receiving numerous 9-1-1 calls in reference to a fire in a single wide mobile home.
When firefighters arrived, they found a shed fully involved that had spread to the single wide mobile home on the property.
A family of three was able to escape the fire without injuries, says Goldberg.
The fire also spread to a large out building to the east on a neighbor’s property. Firefighters, assisted by Pima County Sheriffs’s deputies, evacuated several nearby trailers as the fire grew in size and burned electrical lines.
Two small dogs that were in the shed at the time of the fire are still unaccounted for. The dogs were in the shed for the evening as a result of the cold weather.
The mobile home sustained moderate fire damage as well as smoke damage throughout.
Damage estimates are not available.
