Keith Urban gay? Legendary DJ recalls kiss he shared with singer

Yes, Keith Urban is a married man. He and Nicole Kidman tied the knot in 2006 and the couple has two daughters. But according to Gerry House, a fixture of morning radio for more than 25 years who has written a comical, tell-all book about his broadcasting career, he and longtime friend Keith once shared a kiss.
RadarOnline notes that House writes in his memoir: "I once kissed Keith Urban. Just a peck on the lips. At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. From what I recall, there was a substantial amount of wine reported missing the next morning. My wife was off in another room when the big midnight celebration moment arrives. I puckered up for the nearest person in order to honor Auld Lang Syne. It just turned out to be the guy who married Nicole Kidman."
The site goes on to point out that House jokingly pretends he's been hurt by fact that Keith has seemingly cut off contact with him. He further writes: "I should tell you that [Keith] never writes. He never calls. He treats me like yesterday's newspaper. I have spent many nights standing in front of the fridge, eating ice cream out of the container with a scoop because of it.”
However, it should also be noted that Keith contributed a blurb for the cover which reads: "Gerry, I love you like a brother. I get the top bunk though!"
Taking a more serious tone toward the broader subject of gays in country music, however, House writes, "I don't even know where to start when talking about the gay influence on country music. There is a surprisingly large family of gay (openly or not) men and women in Nashville. The truth is, I think hardly anyone on Music Row would punish you if you're gay. Hell, they might be gay!"
He also takes offense at claims by openly lesbian singer Chely Wright that her country-music career had been ruined by Music Row and the country community. "It had been years since she'd had a hit or anyone had even thought of her," he writes.
House's book, "Country Music Broke My Brain," is available now and can be ordered here.
