With a gig on "American Idol," a recording career, touring and other media obligations -- not to mention fatherhood -- Keith Urban's days are packed full. But thanks to his wife, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, he's able to handle everything with ease.
"I always give props to Nic," Keith said on the red carpet at Sunday's ACM Awards (quote via People). "Because we travel so much as a family, she does an amazing job keeping everybody together. She's got the kids' schedule dialed in, she's dropping them off even in the middle of her work. I couldn't do any of this without her."
The globe-trotting Keith and Nicole, who married in 2006, have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 5, and Faith Margaret, 3, and the girls travel with mom and dad to their respective jobs, which is how they often carve out family bonding time.
"Trying to block out time never seems to work," Keith explained. "So if she's shooting a film -- she was in Morocco, so we're like, 'OK, we're gonna go to Morocco for a holiday.' We just kind of had one while she was working."
Keith took home three trophies at the ACM Awards, including one for "We Were Us" featuring Miranda Lambert. He's getting ready for the Raise 'Em Up tour this summer, with Jerrod Niemann and Brett Eldredge, and on May 6 will return to Nashville for his 5th annual We're All for the Hall benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
