Taylor Swift tells New York magazine that country music is her true love, even if she has had pop crossover appeal. “Country radio is much more like a family than any other group of people that I’ve met,” Taylor says “They just say, ‘Look, we’ve known each other for years. You’ve stood by us, and we’ve stood by you. That’s how this works.’ ... I love being a part of the country-music community.”

Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line says he and Brian Kelley were excited to be invited to join the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but it created a problem, “We were a little bummed because we knew we wouldn’t get to go home, but then kind of thought about it and said, ‘Well let’s just bring the family up to New York.’  My family has never even been to New York ...  they’re excited to see the city and kind of experience what that week’s gonna be like and just take ‘em out to dinner and have a good time."

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will include performances from Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge, Kellie Pickler and the Robertsons of "Duck Dynasty.” The first hour of the national broadcast will feature a special appearance by Carrie Underwood and members of the cast of NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live!” The televised parade begins at 9:00 AM ET/8:00 AM CT on NBC.

Tim McGraw's jeans might fit a little more snug after Thursday.  He admits when Thanksgiving rolls around, all bets are off.  “Thanksgiving is one of my favorite meals of the year so I’m not going to skip out on anything,” he says. “My wife cooks a great Thanksgiving dinner and we have the traditional turkey and cornbread dressing and all the vegetables that are grown in our parents’ garden."  Tim says he is particularly fond of Faith's cornbread made in a skillet.
Chris Young is ready for some football as part of his Thanksgiving ritual. Both the Dallas Cowboys and Chris’s Texas Longhorns hit the gridiron for separate Turkey day games. “I can’t just watch one," he says. "I mean, I’m probably one of the more dedicated even if it’s not my team. I’ll definitely be watching both of those games on Thanksgiving.”
Charlie Worsham has accumulated a lot of frequesnt flyer miles and says he plans to use them for Christmas shopping this year.  “The flying that I’ve been doing this year has earned me so many sky miles that with an Internet connection and all the points I have, I can get a lot of shopping done and it’s actually not costing a dime.” Charlie says he'll be looking for unique gifts for his family and friends during the holiday.
