Two people dead in South Sedgwick County crash

Sunday Evening Update: The Sedgwick County Sheriff's office has released more information on a single-vehicle crash that killed two people early Sunday morning. 

They say a 63-year-old man and 54-year-old woman from Arkansas were killed in the crash. 

Sheriff Sgt. Justin Antle tells KWCH that the driver lost control of the truck, causing it to roll several times. The man and woman were both thrown 50 feet from the truck.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash and Antle says neither person was wearing a seatbelt when the incident happened. 

Sunday 4am Update: Our news partners at KWCH are now reporting that both people injured in the accident earlier this morning, have died.

Original Story: One person has been critically injured and a second person has serious injuries following a wreck in southern Sedgwick County.

It happened at 103rd Street South and Broadway around 12:40 this morning.

Our news partners at KWCH report that Lifeflight has been dispatched to the scene to transport the injured.
