Snow, ice reported in Oklahoma
Many roads across Oklahoma including interstates and turnpikes are reported slick and hazardous as the first winter storm of 2014 brings snow and ice to the state.
The storm entered southwestern Oklahoma Sunday morning and was moving northeastward. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the area and an ice storm warning in far southeastern Oklahoma.
Up to 10 inches of snow in the Lawton area in southwestern Oklahoma with diminishing amounts north and east of the area.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Interstates 40, 35 and 44 snowpacked in areas south of Interstate 40, which crosses the state from west to east and numerous minor accidents were reported Sunday morning and the snowfall was starting to end from the southwest.
