Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint in east Wichita

Wichita Police are investigating the robbery of a pharmacy in east Wichita.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of South Oliver. Lt. James Espinoza says a man entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded prescription pain medication and money from the register.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his thirties, around 6'1" tall with a medium build. He was wearing green coveralls, a black ball cap, and a bandana on his face.
The thief made off with an unknown quanity of medication and money. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
