One dead, two hurt in shootings in Wichita

An unidentified man is dead and two others are injured after a shooting at a north Wichita home.  

The shooting was reported around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 1400 block of N. Holyoke, northeast of the intersection of 13th and Hillside.

Wichita Police Capt. Rusty Leeds said a call was made to 911 of a disturbance, and officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg at 13th and Holyoke. Officers went to a home a block away and found a man dead inside.  

A third shooting victim, believed to be a 19-year-old man, was found at Harry and Oliver. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Police are still sorting out details on the shooting, and there's no word on any suspects or a motive.

A Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor reports one person has been killed in a shooting near 13th and Holyoke. 

Wichita Police responded to a shooting around 1:30 p.m., where a man had been shot in the leg. Soon after, another victim was found in the 1400 block of N. Holyoke. That person later died. 

A third shooting victim was reported at an apartment complex near Harry and Oliver. It is not clear if that shooting is related to the one on Holyoke.
