Highway Patrol seeks public help in fatal hit-and-run

The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking help from the public in the case of a fatal hit-and-run last Sunday.
The KHP said in a press release Thursday that they are asking for help from anyone who may have been traveling on US-56 Highway near mile marker 409 in Osage County between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24th.
Authorities said one witness in particular, who was driving an eastbound semi, could assist in the investigation. The KHP stated the driver is not a suspect.
