TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 79-year-old Parkhill man has died three days after the pickup truck he was driving crashed near Tahlequah in Cherokee County.

A patrol report says Kenneth Stewart died Sunday at a Tulsa hospital following Thursday's crash about four miles west of Tahlequah.

The report says Stewart was eastbound on a county road when he apparently lost consciousness and drove through a field and struck a utility pole before crashing through two fences and coming to a stop.
