An 81-year-old woman is being credited with stopping an armed robbery at a Family Dollar Store in Oklahoma City, and everyone wants to know who she is.

According to the Herald Democrat, a man walked into the store at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The man's face was covered and he had a T-shirt wrapped around his hand.

The man told the cashier that he had a gun and demanded money. That was when the elderly woman walked up to the man and started hitting him with her hands and purse.

The woman also told the would-be thief, "Oh no, you are not robbing them."

It worked. The man left, possibly out of embarrassment. Unfortunately, the woman didn't stick around for the police to arrive. She told store employees that she had other things to do.

Many people are now wondering who the feisty woman was. One of the witnesses told police the woman's age.

According to KRMG News 102.3, no one has been arrested.
