Twist in the case of murdered school nurse found in Hendry County

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Authorities haveidentified a suspect in the murder of a missing SouthFlorida school nurse whose body was found in Hendry County this past week.However, the suspect in her death is now dead.

Palm Beach County deputies say the body of Kimberly Lindsey was found in a sugar cane field in Hendry County Wednesday. reports say her body was missing a head and fingers and had a gunshot to the chest.

Authorities now charging her ex-husband, 59-year-old Albert Lambert with first-degree murder and home burglary

When they arrived at a Miami home to arrest him Sunday morning they found him dead from a drug overdose.

According to a probable cause affidavit, investigators found blood in Lindsey's Palm Beach Gardens home as well as a car, owned by Lambert, officials believe was used to take her to that field in Hendry County

Authorities charged Lambert after positive DNA blood samples were taken from the car and home.

Lindsey was last seen Sunday and authorities say she never hinted that anything was wrong in a text message to one of her 3 daughters Sunday night.

Officials at Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach,where Lindsey workedreported her missing Monday.

Plans are now in the works to rename the school's health clinic after her.
