By Barry Miller. CREATED May 14, 2014

ORLANDO, Fla. – Three men, two with ties to Collier County, were arrested after detectives watched them attempt to break into a home in Orlando.

Johnathan Contreras, 27, and Andres Perez, 44, both from Immokalee, and Frank William Bower Jr., 54, were arrested on burglary charges.

A report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office states deputies watched the three men use wire cutters to gain access to a home.

Deputies say the suspects were each wearing all black, including black masks.  The three suspects were each carrying a book bag containing zip ties, duct tape and a hand gun.  One of the guns was stolen from Collier County.

Members of the Collier County home invasion task force were present for the arrests.  This is the same task force investigating several recent home invasions in Naples.  The Collier County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement:

"The task force is continuing its comprehensive investigation. We were present in Orange County for the arrests of Frank William Bower Jr., 54; Andres Perez, 44; and Johnathan Contreras, 27.  The task force has been and is continuing to work with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. As soon as there are developments that can be shared with the community, that information will be released."

This is a developing story.  We will have more information as it becomes available.
