Sitting less may increase life

Spending less time sitting may increase your lifespan by keeping your DNA young. 

Researchers looked into the relationship between physical activity and bits of DNA that protect chromosomes. 

While exercise was not linked to healthier bits of DNA less time sitting was associated with making the strands longer which in turn keeps DNA young. 

But researchers say more work is needed to determine why this is the case.
