Regions Bank robbed in North Fort Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County deputies are searching for a woman who held up the Regions Bank in North Fort Myers this morning.

The hold up at 13520 North Cleveland Avenue happened around 10 a.m.

Witnesses say a white female entered the bank wearing a denim color jean, dark long sleeve shirt with a denim hat and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

This is the third bank robbery in Lee County in the last three days.  Thursday a man dressed in an Oakland A's jersey robbed a Wells Fargo in Fort Myers at 6 Mile Cypress and Colonial.  On Wednesday two men dressed as women robbed a Bank of America in Fort Myers at Winkler and Metro.
