ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - A Kansas City attorney has died from his injuries after a jet ski crash Sunday near Englewood.
Five people were hurt in the crash that killed prominent Kansas City attorney Lee Hollis.
Charlotte County EMS says Hollis was driving a jet ski when it collided with a boat carrying four people around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
All five people were thrown into the water and then later rescued by another boater who called 911.
EMS says Hollis suffered an amputated leg and was transported to the Englewood Community Hospital where he died Monday.
