Man sought in robbery of Fort Myers Subway

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Subway restaurant Friday night.

Police received the call around 8:15 p.m.  A black male armed with a knife robbed the Subway at 3501 Fowler Street.

The suspect forcefully took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash draw and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is further described as heavy-set, short or shaved head, approximately 30-40 years of age wearing all black clothing and a black “Miami Heat” hat.

Police would like the public to review the attached surveillance photos of the suspect. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robbery suspects could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
