CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A familiar face to Southwest Florida had the chance to show off his acting skills on the set of Fox's hit show, "Sleepy Hollow."
"Anything with Sleepy Hollow is awesome!" said 18 yr. old Danny Rawley.
Awesome is just one word Rawley used to describe his experience as a co-star on the popular show.
He adds, "It was a really good cast to shoot with and everything was really cool. Everything about the show was awesome."
It's hard for him to pinpoint just one of the perks of working on a show he himself watches but the rising star gave us a little behind the scenes scoop. "It was definitely the biggest set that I've been on and not only that, they were filming more than one scene. I was filming over here and they were filming something totally different over there."
Born and raised in Cape Coral, Rawley caught the acting bug at age 11. In between auditions he modeled for some national campaigns but he says nothing could compare to the news of landing his latest role coming from his number one fan.
"My mom calls me and she's like guess what? I was like what? She said, you just booked Sleepy Hollow! I was ecstatic."
The show boasts some serious special effects, something Rawley was excited to see up close and as for the nerves, he said, "The first scene I shot I was kind of like, a little nervous but it was awesome!"
He got over that quickly, especially for a show like Sleepy Hollow.
Rawley hopes to make acting a full time gig. In the meantime, he attends Edison State College and has plans to be a firefighter if acting doesn't work out.
