High-wire artist Nik Wallenda visits Fort Myers church
FORT MYERS, Fla. - From the high wire to Southwest Florida. Nik Wallenda visited First Assembly of God Sunday.
The high-wire artist who just became the first person to high-wire walk across the Grand Canyon spoke at two church services and spent time autographing his new book, Balance.
Fox 4 sat down one-on-one with Wallenda to talk about his real life balancing act, from walking the high wire to speaking at churches and spending time with his family. He calks up all his success to a lot of experience.
"My family has been doing this for 200 years and it really is just about trying to maintain that healthy level of family time, of business time, and it is a challenge just like anyone else, I have those same struggles," Wallenda said.
Wallenda is preparing to walk across the Bank of America 500 in Charlotte on Saturday and he is still working on getting permits to walk between two high rises in New York City.
