Flood advisory for Southwest Florida

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for Lee County has been extended until 3:30 p.m.

Radar indicates heavy rain in association with thunderstorms could cause urban and small stream flooding.  The advisory includes the cities of Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

The flood advisory for Marco Island and the Marco Island Airport has been canceled.

Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads.
