FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University is keeping NCAA Tournament hopes alive in the form of the Eagles women's basketball team.  FGCU beat Mercer Saturday 64 to 47 setting up a Atlantic Sun Championship clash Sunday.

The Eagles will meet Stetson for the third-consecutive A-Sun Women's Basketball Championship Final at 3 p.m.  The game will be broadcast on CSS.

This marks only the second time in A-Sun history that two teams met in the championship finale three-straight years with the first time coming from 1986-88 in the league's first championships.

FGCU is in search of becoming the first team to win the A-Sun Championship as a host school since 1998 when Florida International defeated Georgia State at home.

The Eagles squad features A-Sun Player of the Year Sarah Hansen as their leading scorer, while the Hatters have Freshman of the Year Amber Porter leading the team in scoring.
