FORT MYERS, Fla. - An Estero woman received 60 months probation for a June incident in which her two children walked away from her trailer home.
Rachel Davis will also have to pay fines, court costs, the cost of prosecution along with following a no contact order with her two small children.
Davis will have to wait until dependency court approves supervised contact. Davis must take parenting classes, undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations and follow through on any recommended treatment as a condition of her probation.
DCF found the home in filthy conditions after first responders searched several hours for the children. Her live-n boyfriend, Cole Michael Thomas, is also charged with neglect.
