Cape Coral smash and grab

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police are looking for a man who broke into a cell phone store stealing several phones.

The crime happened at about 5 a.m. on Saturday July 27, 2013 at Cellular Unlimited, 2120 Santa Barbara Boulevard South.

Security footage from B.A. Hustlers shows a light colored Ford Explorer pull into the parking lot.  Once it stopped a passenger got out and walked to the cell phone store.

A few minutes later, security footage from ”Cellular Unlimited” showed the passenger of the vehicle smashing out the glass to the front door with what appeared to be a screw driver. The man then entered the store and made his way to the display case and took  several cell phones. After taking the cell phones he left the store and walked out of sight.

The security footage was dark but the suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, a white hat, long dark pants and work gloves. He appeared to be between the ages of 25-35, 6`0 tall and approximately 170 pounds. The race of the male was not able to be determined due to the dark security footage.
