BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - A traffic stop in Bonita Springs by a Lee County deputy ended in the arrest of a 24-year-old Kentucky man for trafficking in stolen/cloned credit cards and 13 counts of possession of forged credit cards early Wednesday morning.
The arrest report says Addiel Rodriguez was a passenger in the vehicle that was stopped. When the deputy ran the Ohio's Driver's License that Rodriguez gave to him, it came back as being assigned to a completely different person.
Rodriguez was then asked his real name and he was arrested for having a fraudulent driver's license and giving a false name to a law enforcement officer.
When Rodriguez was searched the deputy found a bundle of a small stack of gift/credit cards.
A check of the cards showed that they were fake.
