SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - A man armed with a handgun robbed a South Fort Myers Circle K of lottery tickets shortly after midnight Tuesday.

The store clerk told deputies that a man dressed in a black hood covering their hair, face and neck, came into the store wearing black pants and a black long sleeve shirt.  The suspect was also wearing a pair of white latex gloves.

The store clerk encountered the robber at the front door and when the man pointed the gun at her and mumbled something inaudible, she fled into a back office and locked the door.

Video surveillance taken from the store at 11225 South Cleveland Avenue showed the suspect entering the store and grabbing a Florida Lottery ticket rack from the check out counter.

The suspect is still on the loose.  Anyone with information about this crime can call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (239) 477-1000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
