Fungicide found in orange juice
FLORIDA (AP)- The FDA has found traces of fungicide in orange juice samples here in Florida. Officials said they found low levels of a fungicide which had been banned in the U.S.
All 14 samples were taken from major orange juice manufacturers within the state. The testing comes after the fungicide was discovered in several orange juice samples from Brazil and Canada last month.
The FDA says the amount of fungicide that was found does not pose a health threat and will not issue a recall.
