A woman trying to exercise at a gym in California was recently told she had to cover up because she was too fit.
The gym is located in Richmond, and the gym says her body violated a gym code.
Tiffany Austin was walking on a treadmill wearing a halter top and capri exercise pants. After a few minutes of exercising, a gym worker told her to cover up because her body was "intimidating other people in the gym."
Austin says that she felt intimidated herself, and harassed by a place that claims to have a no intimidation policy.
Planet Fitness boasts that it is a judgment-free zone. But Austin says she felt judged.
Now, she has asked the company for a refund of her membership fees. Planet Fitness says it is up to each gym's manager to decide what dress is appropriate.
