Photo of grocery store clerk tying elderly man's shoes goes viral
A Florida grocery store employee's random act of kindness is going viral.
Gage Boucher, 20, is employed by Publix in Ormond Beach. He was recently photographed tying an elderly customer's shoelaces.
The photo was taken by another customer who was in the store to buy steaks. He said that he was so moved by the random act of kindness that he had to take a picture, according to My News 13 in Florida.
The elderly man tried to give the employee money for helping him but Boucher refused.
Boucher, who works at the store as an overnight stock clerk, says that he simply hopes that his random act of kindness will inspire others to be kind.
