A close call in Pueblo, Colo., where police say a mother placed her infant baby girl on train tracks Friday afternoon. Some witnesses said, at first, they didn’t even realize the woman had left a baby there because the bundle was just so tiny.

Police says the mother, 31-year-old Jessica Sloan ran away, but witnesses detained her until police could get there. Two city workers rescued the baby.
Witnesses say two trains were on the tracks, but neither was moving at the time.
The two-week-old baby baby was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK. The mother has been charged with attempted murder. She was reportedly incoherent at the time of her arrest.
Police said Sloan had several local municipal warrants and a $500 Failure to Appear warrant for theft, according to local station Fox 21 News.
