Known as innovators of the game of basketball for decades, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters are again introducing something unparalleled in the history of sports and family entertainment, taking kid participation and fun to a whole new level when the Globetrotters come to the Breslin Center in East Lansing this Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 7:00PM.

As part of the 2013 "You Write the Rules" World Tour, which runs through April 2013, fans will decide the rules for the game that could affect the final outcome. Rules include anything from playing with two basketballs at once, to getting double points for every basket.

By going online and visiting www.harlemglobetrotters.com, fans can vote for the rule they want to see in the game.

Buckets Blakes, a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, tells FOX 47 that the game will also feature a live vote for the fourth quarter, so fans can also participate in person to vote for their favorite rule.

Of all the rules, Blakes says playing with two basketballs at once is the toughest.

In support of breast cancer awareness, a portion of the game will be played with a pink ball on Saturday. Pink bracelets will also be sold during the game, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"We've donated millions of dollars to charities worldwide. A lot of players on the team and people in our office have been affected in some way by breast cancer. So we thought it would be really nice to raise money throughout our whole tour of 270 games, and hopefully find a cure for breast cancer."
