Lansing Police have three people in custody in connection with a shooting Friday afternoon.

The police received a call about cars shooting at each other at 4:35 p.m. while traveling eastbound on Miller from Wise.

Shortly afterward, 911 operators were told of a shooting victim at a car wash in the area of Kaynorth and Miller.

Detectives saw one man trying to drive away; when they followed, he shot at the detectives, and drove off.
