Memorial Day Parades in Michigan

Pack some lawn chairs, some treats and get the family in the car! Celebrate those who have served our country on Memorial Day. 

Here is a list of parades happening in Michigan. Don't see your town or city, email and we will gladly add it to the list! 


St. Joseph: Noon – Parade starts at the intersection of Lake Blvd. and Park St. and travels down Lake Blvd. to the John E. N. Howard Bandshell.


Lansing: Noon -- Parade has been canceled in favor of a more meaningful celebration and ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery.  


Jenison: 9 a.m. – Parade starts at Baldwin St. from 20th Ave. to Cottonwood Dr.

Saugatuck: 10 a.m. -- Starts at Center Street in downtown Douglas.

Douglas: 9 a.m. – Parade begins at Butler Street in downtown Saugatuck. 

Zeeland: 9 a.m. – Parade route starts on Main Avenue at Centennial Street, heading west to State Street, south to Central Avenue and east on Central Avenue to Maple Street. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at the Lincoln Street Cemetery.

Holland: 9:30 a.m. – Parade travels from Eighth Street and River Avenue to Columbia Avenue, then south to 16th Street and east to the Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Lowell: 10 a.m. – The parade will run down Main Street to Washington Street, and end at Oakwood Cemetery.

Rockford: 10 a.m. – Ash St. to Walnut St. to Main St. to Bridge St. to Mechanic St. to Cedar St. to Maple St. to Elmwood Cemetery.

Spring Lake: 10:30 a.m. – Parade will run from the corner of Buchanan and Exchange Streets, east, then south on Lake Avenue. East onto River Street, north onto Fruitport Road, ending at Spring Lake Township Cemetery.

Caledonia: Noon – Parade begins at the corner of Kinsey and Main streets, concluding with ceremonies at Caledonia Lakeside Cemetery.

Fruitport: 2 p.m. – Parade starts at Fruitport Middle School, heads east on Pontaluna to Third, then will run to Park Street, and then to 8th Avenue. 


Grand Rapids: 7:30 – 9 p.m. – Parade heads down Division to Fulton, ending at Veterans Memorial Park.
