Green Believes He'll Be Drafted Late in First Round

Draymond Green thinks he'll be taken in the later part of the first round in June's NBA draft, and one executive in the league thinks that is a realistic expectation.

Utah Jazz executive Walt Perrin thinks that Green will go late in the first round.

Draymond just graduated over the weekend and will stay in East Lansing to prepare for the draft. Currently he has one workout schedule with the Boston Celtics.

MSU head coach Tom Izzo has been talking to many league GMs about Green over the past couple weeks and recently said that he hopes that teams look at Green's growth during his four years at MSU.

"If people are smart he will be a higher draft pick. If people worry about what he can't do, shame on them... I think one thing that has gotten overlooked about him is he got better every year he was here."
