An angry parent took a bat to a teacher after finding out the teacher was texting his daughter.
It happened in Baltimore County in Maryland. The parents of a 15-year-old girl at Perry Hall High School found several dozen text messages exchanged between a male teacher and their daughter, according to the Baltimore Sun.
The parents felt that the text messages indicated an inappropriate emotional relationship between the 42-year-old teacher and their child, and called the police. However, police did not find evidence of an actual crime.
Mere hours after the parents called the police, the teacher showed up at the student's house. There was a confrontation and the dad hit the teacher with a bat.
Although the teacher suffered minor injuries, he is not pressing charges.
The teacher and the relationship are now under investigation. No names are being released by local authorities.
