Turns out, it was all a hoax! Check out our original story below.
Elan Gale, a producer for ABC's "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," became annoyed with a fellow passenger on a Thanksgiving flight.
Apparently, the woman began complaining loudly because their flight was delayed. Gale immediately began tweeting about the situation, including her comments to the flight crew.
He sent her a note and a glass of wine. In the note, he said that he hoped she wouldn't be able to talk anymore because she was too busy drinking wine.
But he didn't stop there. He also walked by her seat and dropped off two small bottles of vodka.
From that point on, it was game on.
The woman, whom Gale began calling "Diane," sent a note. In the note, she called Gale an "awful person." Of course, Gale responded. In this note, he tells Diane that he hates her.
After the plane lands in Phoenix, Gale tweets that Diane slapped him as he waited for her at the gate. Gale says that he did not press charges and boarded his next flight for Los Angeles.
However, he did give her one last note.
