A contestant named Emil on the popular game show “Wheel of Fortune” had just two letters in a 12-word puzzle to go on, but, amazingly, he guessed the correct answer on his first try, stunning both himself and host Pat Sajak. Watch his priceless reaction in the video above.
Sajak went for laughs when he immediately turned Emil around, had him put his hands in the air and patted him down him for wires. The episode aired on Wednesday (March 19).
Emil, a nursing student, told TMZ he was studying pediatrics when the show was taped in January, so he had babies on his mind when correctly guessed the answer: new baby buggy. They were the first words he uttered when he began a stream-of-consciousness guessing game.
That one correct guess won Emil $45,000, and he ended the show with a total net of $63,099.
He told TMZ Sajak pulled him aside after the win to tell him he is one of the best "Wheel" players the host has ever seen.
